How to Stream the PyeongChang 2018 Olympic Winter Games

The PyeongChang 2018 Olympic Winter Games start tomorrow! If you’re hoping to watch the games but don’t have cable after cutting the cord, there are still plenty of easy ways to stream the Olympics! Whether you want to catch every single event from alpine skiing to snowboarding or just want to know enough to chat about it at the office, here are some of the ways netBlazr recommends streaming and keeping up with the Olympic winter games:

Streaming Services

All streaming services that offer NBC live will give you access to the full NBC Olympic lineup. This includes but is not limited to Sling TV, DirecTV Now, Hulu Live TV, PlayStation VUE, FuboTV, YouTube TV, and more. If you’re not signed up for a service yet, many offer free trials so you can get a feel for them (and watch the Olympics too)!

All of the Olympic events will be streamed live and on-demand on NBC’s Olympics website, as well as highlight reels, the Opening and Closing Ceremonies, and other video features. This option requires you to have a paid subscription to another service (like the ones above) that offer NBC. If you don’t have a subscription to NBC, there will also be short video features that are viewable completely free.

NBC Sports App

You can watch any of the sporting events live or on-demand if you download NBC’s sports app, which will also feature a wide variety of Olympic-themed video content like their website (also requires paid subscription to an above service offering NBC). Devices that offer the sports app include Roku, Apple TV, Samsung TV, Fire TV, XBOX One, Windows 10 and more.

Snapchat Stories

Snapchat’s Discover Tab will feature live-updating highlights from the Olympic Winter Games in South Korea if you want more on-the-go coverage of the events. You can also get in on the fun with custom Olympic-themed Snapchat filters!

YouTube TV x Apple TV

Along with traditional YouTube content covering the Olympic Winter Games, you can now stream NBC live with your YouTube TV service. YouTube TV recently added Apple TV to their partnered platforms, so you can now watch the Olympics on NBC through YouTube TV on your Apple TV (try saying that 10 times fast).

Another way to follow the Olympics is through the eyes of the athletes themselves! Watch how athletes experience the Olympics by following them on Instagram and seeing their Instagram Stories and feeds updated in real time.
