netBlazr wins SBIR Phase I Research Grant

We were awarded a Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) Phase I project grant for $150k from the National Science Foundation. In the first half of 2013 netBlazr will partner with researchers from the University of New Hampshire to validate that we can develop a multiple antenna, transparent wireless node.  This device would bring new functionality to the marketplace and eliminate much of the complexity we currently face in connecting customers to the netBlazr network.

We are thrilled that our technical team was recognized for their vision to bring new wireless technology to the market which will radically simplify the way people connect to high-speed broadband networks.  Upon completion of the Phase I research we will apply for a $750k Phase II grant to run from 2014-2015 to build a prototype based on the work validated in Phase I.
